Kewaunee hosted NEW Lutheran and showed why they should be the #1 team in the Packerland Conference. The final score being 73-50 Storm victory. The Storm were led by junior guard Thomas Stangel. Stangel had 24 points in the contest. This was Stangel’s first big game of the season. He was able to get to the rim relatively easily and had some crazy finishing skills which he put on display. Jack Henschel led the Blazers with 18 points. 15 of those points were 3-pointers. 

The Storm led 40-19 at halftime and never gave the Blazers a chance at a comeback. The Storm struggled once again from the free-throw stripe, going 1-7 on free throws. The Storm also received scoring from Payton Konhle who had 14 points. Lamack had 9 points while Ihlenfeldt and Pribek had 8. The Storm were able to hold Tristian Lynch to 11 points. Lynch averaged 25 points going into the contest.

The Storm travel to Oconto next Tuesday, December 20 with tip-off set for 7:30pm.
