The Kewaunee Storm beat the Shiocton Chiefs 79-70 in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday. Kewaunee was led by Cal Ihlenfeldt who scored a season high 27 points in the contest. Ihlenfeldt was able to get inside looks against Shiocton’s man-to-man defense as well as their 2-3 zone. The Storm received scoring from Lamack, Stangel, Pribek, and Kohnle.

 Shiocton was led by Dawson Schmidt. Schmidt had 30 points in the game. The Storm knew that Schmidt was a capable scorer and did not double team him. Kewaunee did not allow the rest of the Shiocton team to beat them. The move payed off as the Storm collected the victory. 

The Storm will host NEW Lutheran Thursday in Kewaunee.
