Kewaunee Girls Looks for First Win at Algoma

The Kewaunee Girls will open their Packerland Conference season at Algoma. The Storm looks to quickly move off their two major losses to Wrightstown and Freedom to start the season. Algoma went 11-14 last year, good enough for 5th place in the Packerland Conference. They lost 3 seniors and will be in a similar scenario this season. Both teams will have younger teams and must focus on developing the young players.

Kewaunee will gladly welcome Lexie Hanrahan back to the court after an ankle injury that kept her out of the first two games. She is the 1 player on this roster that had significant minutes last season and will lead this team in the matchup. Jade Kroll is still out with a broken wrist. Gabby Stangel will most likely distribute the ball for the Storm and be another option for scoring. Brianna Demmin will also need to control the paint for Kewaunee by getting rebounds and scoring.

Tipoff is set for 7:30 at Algoma High School.
