The Kewaunee Storm seek to remain perfect when they play host to the Oconto Blue Devils Friday night.
Kewaunee (3-0), finally found themselves with a comfortable lead this season, beating the Marinette Marines 56-8 last week. The two games before that for the Storm were tightly contested, winning 28-21 over Kiel and 21-20 against Mineral Point. Kewaunee has always been balanced on the offensive and defensive end, and have showed that once again this season, leading to them being ranked #6 in Division 5 by WSN and in the Fox 11 top 11 in the #9 spot. The Storm will look to keep the offense rolling in conference play against Oconto.
The Blue Devils (3-0), are an offensive nightmare, letting up 14 points in 3 total weeks. Oconto has been in 2 low scoring battles, beating Oconto Falls 7-6 and Peshtigo 8-0. QB/RB Kyle Bowman has led the offense the whole season, rushing the ball 75 times for 389 yards and 4 touchdowns while only having 7 passing attempts the whole year.
The matchup is set for 7:00 P.M. in Kewaunee.
