Kewaunee cross country looks to improve at UWGB meet

The Storm cross country team is in for a big invitational as they take a trip to the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay for the De Pere Invitational Thursday afternoon.

For the boys team, as expected Christopher Cullen has stepped up for Kewaunee, as he ran a 18:44.0 at the Two Rivers Invitational, which placed him 23rd in a competitive boys field. He will look to improve on that time at UWGB.

For the girls, a newcomer to the team ran the best time so far for the Storm. Hannah Miller ran a 22:28.0 also at the Two Rivers Invitational, which was a personal best for her. Behind her is Hannah Morton, just under 3 seconds behind Miller. The Kewaunee girls team could be primed for a good finish come results at the meet.

The meet is scheduled to kick off at 5:20 for the girls race, and 5:50 for the boys race.
