Carlson helps Kewaunee sprint past Kiel

Owen Carlson opened the game strong and helped shorten the game in the second half in Kewaunee's season-opening 28-21 victory over Kiel on Thursday night.

Carlson opened the proceedings by taking the kick-off the distance to give the Storm an early lead. The Raiders would answer with a pair of touchdown drives to make 14-12 heading into the break. The Storm would use their ground game to grind down the Raiders, outscoring them 16-7 in the second half to avenge last season's overtime defeat. Carlson ended the day with two touchdowns in the victory.
