The Kewaunee Storm softball team won a pair of close battles Thursday against their shoreline rivals Algoma, winning 4-3 and 4-2.
In game one, the Wolves struck first with a Rylee Fenendael RBI single, but the Storm answered with a Taylor Schlies RBI double. The Storm would go on to score two more runs in the third thanks to a two-run single by Emily Todd. Despite losing, the Wolves hammered the Storm with 10 hits, including RBI by Ryley Zimmermann and Maisen Luedtke.
Game two was highlighted by a three-run second inning thanks to a pair of groundouts and an RBI single.
