Kewaunee wrestling visits Kiel

The Kewaunee wrestling team gets back to work Tuesday night when they travel to Kiel for a dual meet.

The last time the Storm took the mat, Logan Steinhorst won the first tournament title of the year for Kewaunee on Friday night. A third-period pin of Two Rivers' Justin Klinkner clinched the Neenah title at 170 pounds for Steinhorst while Max Severin lost his championship bid in a 9-7 decision to Burlington's Austin Reeseman at 145 pounds. The Storm finished in sixth place with just under 85 points. They lost their last dual to Green Bay United 39-36 last week, though they won four of the six contested matches.

Kiel has six ranked wrestlers compared to four for Kewaunee. The top-ranked wrestlers for each team are Kiel's Eyan Desselier (2nd, 132 pounds) and Kewaunee's Mitchell Thompson (3rd, 195 pounds)

The dual is set to begin at 6:30 p.m.
