The Kewaunee Storm welcomed Manitowoc Lutheran, Green Bay Preble, and Packerland rival Sturgeon Bay for a cross country meet at Bruemmer Park on Thursday.
In the boys' race, the Storm placed third out of the three eligible teams. Cameron Cullen paced the team with 17:46 on the 5K course. Christopher Cullen came in second on the team with a time of 19:17. Jordan Brann rounded out the sub-20 minute finishers with a 19:57. Matt Wery finished with a 22:08 and Cole Pawlitski also broke 23 minutes with a 22:14. Breaking 24 minutes was Mitchel Swagel (23:19) and James Joski (23:21).
The Storm girls did not have a full team, but Gina Augustian's 25:17 paced the squad on the 5K course. Elena Lewis came closely behind with a 25:45 while Mercedes Kroll finished with a 26:45.
Green Bay Preble won both divisions, followed by Manitowoc Lutheran.
