The Kewaunee Storm laid on the gas in the second half against the Sturgeon Bay Clippers Thursday night, winning the game 71-29.
Already entering the second half with a healthy 31-19 lead, the Storm expanded that lead even more as they outscored the Clippers 37-10. Neither team shot well from the line, but Claire Kohnle and Mykenzi Uhlers shot well from everywhere else. Kohnle nailed six three-pointers for a 34 point evening while Uhlers added another 18 points with four made three-pointers. Carley Wodack and Autumn Rass led the Clippers in scoring with 10 and nine points respectively in the loss.
