Kewaunee High School

Kewaunee girls host Sturgeon Bay

The Kewaunee Storm hope they can sail past Sturgeon Bay in their Thursday night matchup.

The Storm easily cruised past Algoma 69-19 in their first action since last week's school threat. The Storm had four players score in double figures in the win, led by Mykenzi Uhlers' 16 points. The team is in line to win the Packerland Conference if it can continue to win with a two-game lead over second-place Southern Door.

The Clippers are still looking for their first win over a conference opponent this season. The offense is improving as they scored their highest amount of points in nearly two weeks in their recent 47-39 loss to NEW Lutheran. Carley Wodack scored 14 points in the loss.

Tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
