Storm boys hope to keep streak alive against Pioneers

The Kewaunee boys' basketball team looks to avoid peeking ahead at its next opponent when it plays Sevastopol on Tuesday.

The Storm is coming off a 78-73 win over Peshtigo that required an extra frame to decide. Alex Rohr and Sawyer Pribek each crossed the 20-point threshold as the Storm outscored the Bulldogs 8-3 in order to secure their fifth straight Packerland win. A seven point loss to Oconto earlier this season remains their only blemish on the season, putting them one game behind their Friday night opponent in Southern Door.

The Pioneers ran into a pair of hot-hands in its 94-69 loss to Gibraltar on Friday. Cole Dvorak scored 16 points and Jack DeYoung tallied 14 points in the loss that sent their conference record to 0-4.

Tip is set for 7:30 p.m.
