The Kewaunee Storm girls' basketball team kept a stranglehold on first place in the Packerland Conference with a 37-30 win over the Peshtigo Bulldogs.
The game was tight in the first half with both teams tied 16-16 at halftime, but the Storm had the edge in the second half by outscoring the Bulldogs 21-14 in the final frame. Both teams did a good job taking out each other's offensive stars. Peshtigo's Sydney Lund was limited to just eight points while Kewaune's Claire Kohnle and Toni Bortolini were kept to a combined five points. Mykenzi Uhlers stepped up for the Storm, scoring a game-high 18 points in the win.
