Kewaunee's Thursday got a lot more interesting when its dual wrestling meet against Peshtigo got turned into a road quad against Rosholt and Wittenberg-Birnamwood.

 

The Storm have been on a roll as of late as they have not allowed a single contested match win over its last few duals. Several of its wrestlers are undefeated on the season and four of them are ranked: Jack Severin (1st, 132 pounds), Max Severin (honorable mention, 138 pounds), Mitchell Thompson (honorable mention, 170 pounds) and Jason Reinke (10th, 195 pounds).

 

Peshtigo has no ranked wrestlers and is 1-0 in the Packerland Conference thanks to a win over Oconto where it won all three contested matches. 

 

Rosholt will offer Jack Severin his toughest match of the season if the roster line up correctly. He could face the Hornets' Bo Niewiadomski, who is currently ranked third in the state.

 

Wittenberg-Birnamwood may offer the staunchest test with four ranked wrestlers entering Thursday night. Pierson Potrykus (9th, 126 pounds), Bryce Zoromski (honorable mention, 145 pounds), Wyatt Esker (fourth, 152 pounds), and David Gauderman (4th, 220 pounds) could give tough tests to Storm wrestlers.

 

The first match begins at 5:30 p.m. with subsequent duals starting on the hour after that.
