The Kewaunee boys' basketball team took the lead and never let go in its 62-51 win over Gibraltar on Friday night.

The Storm jumped out to a 31-27 halftime lead before being able to stretch things out a little bit in the second half. The Vikings could not break into the lead as they fouled players at the end to extend the game. The Storm shot about 50 percent from the line (11-20), but prevented the Vikings from getting their own trips for free throws (5-9) and made key defensive stops.

Alex Rohr led all scorers with 21 points while  Ben Heim chipped in another 16 points. Rohr was able to do his damage from behind the arc, hitting five of the Storm's seven three-pointers. Luke Steebs led all Vikings players with 17 points.
