Don’t tell the Kewaunee High School girls basketball team that 13 is an unlucky number. Thursday night the Storm dialed up some rough waters for the visiting Sturgeon Bay Clippers in a 58-35 win. Kewaunee improves to 13-0, 8-0 in the Packerland Conference. 

What has been impressive about the Storm this year, outside of their sterling record, is the ability to adapt to the game being played on any given night. Kewaunee seems just as comfortable winning a 43-29 game against Southern Door as they do streaking towards 80 points offensively like they put up against Sevastopol. That versatility should be an asset come the state playoffs.

Kewaunee returns to the court Monday at Algoma. Sturgeon Bay hosts NEW Lutheran.
