More than one storm participated in Thursday's De Pere Invitational featuring Kewaunee.

 

Heavy rains and lightning in the area made finishing one 5k race at the De Pere Invitational questionable let alone four, so at the suggestion of Green Bay West's most senior head coach, all the schools agreed to have all the kids run together -- boys and girls from the varsity and junior varsity. In the end, Kewaunee boys' team finished in sixth place and did not have enough runners to score on the girls' side. Kewaunee's James (18:38) and Cameron Cullen (18:58) broke the tape in less than 19 minutes while Kewaunee's Elizabeth Lamack (23:08) was the girls' team top finisher.
