Several area golf teams competed in the WIAA Division 3 Oneida Nation regional this week at Thornberry Creek at Oneida-Hobart with the top four teams advancing to sectionals.

Mishicot won the regional with a team score of 337, followed by Gibraltar at 358, Reedsville at 360, and Roncalli at 366 to round out the qualifying teams. Sevastopol finished fifth with 372, just missing the cut. Kewaunee shot 384 and Southern Door finished with 447.

Individually, Evan MacCaux of Kewaunee punched his ticket to sectionals with an 82, qualifying as an individual despite the team falling short. Chase Kanapka of Sevastopol also advanced individually with a 91, giving the Pioneers a representative at the next level even though the team didn't qualify as a group.

Henry Wehrenberg led Gibraltar with an 85 and Bairen Lhost added an 88. Chase Kanapka's 91 paced Sevastopol. Marshall Gray shot an 88 to lead Southern Door.
