The Vikings' fortunes turned in the from there as they scored at least two runs in each of the final four innings, including a critical five run  fourth inning. The Wildcats responded with a five-run sixth inning before the Vikings' Charlie Reinhardt drew a bases-loaded walk and Miles Richmond recorded an RBI single to put the team up for good. Richmond and Cam Munao each had three hits while Aaron Brey and Luke Rericha recorded two RBI.
