Gibraltar's softball team dropped a tough one Tuesday at Fish Creek, falling 7-6 to Reedsville despite out-hitting them four to two.
Emilie Glocke was dominant in the circle, striking out 12 over five and two-thirds innings, but eight walks and six Reedsville stolen bases created too much damage. The Panthers put up five in the fourth to build a 7-1 lead and Gibraltar couldn't quite complete the comeback, scoring five late runs on a walk, a fielder's choice, a ground out, and a single before the rally fell short.
Gabi Solomon, Glocke, Cleleste Ashley, and Mia Glocke each had a hit and drove in a run for Gibraltar, but it wasn't enough on the day.
