Vikings softball battles Wolves on the road

The Gibraltar Vikings softball team visits Hilbert Monday afternoon in hopes of securing its first win of the young season.

On Friday, Gibraltar recorded just one hit across four innings against Coleman Friday in a 15-0 loss that saw Megan Gallant break up a perfect game for the Cougars' Macy Nowak. Errors again plagued the Vikings as six extra opportunities were dished out to Coleman across the four-innings of play.

The Wolves are 4-2 on the season, including their last three games. In a 9-4 win over Gillett/Suring, Addison Grenzer and Madison Schnurer each collected three hits while Grace Kloehn earned the win from the circle.

First pitch is set for 4:30 p.m.
