Vikings baseball bring winning streak to Hilbert

The Gibraltar baseball team brings its three-game winning streak on the road with them Monday afternoon when they face off against Hilbert.

The Vikings had their doubleheader against Southern Door postponed after they knocked off Coleman 7-5 the day before. Trailing 5-4 late, three straight singles from Aaron Brey, Rericha, and Owen Dannhausen pushed across the tying run before an RBI single from Bultman and a run-scoring groundout off the bat of Charlie Reinhardt gave the Vikings a two-run lead they would not give up. After issuing a leadoff walk, Bultman retired the final three batters to record the save. Bultman ended his day going 3-3 and two RBI while three other players registered at least one RBI.

The Wolves are 2-2 on the season, which includes a pair of games on April 11th where they lost Florence 13-0 before topping Crandon 11-1.

The first pitch is scheduled for 4:30 p.m.
