It was a tough weekend for Gibraltar on Saturday in Mauston. The Vikings dropped both of their Saturday games, falling to Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 20-2 in the morning before dropping the afternoon game to Cameron by the same score.

In game one against the Resorters, Gibraltar got on the board first. Gabi Solomon tripled and Isla Fagundes grounded out to plate a pair of runs in the top of the first, giving the Vikings an early 2-0 lead. Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah answered in a big way though, putting up 8 runs in the bottom of the first. Mia Glocke took the loss in the circle, going 3 innings and striking out six.

Game two against Cameron was more of the same. The Comets erupted for 12 runs in the bottom of the first to flip another 2-0 Gibraltar lead and never looked back. Brylee Viltz led Cameron going 4-for-4 with 5 RBIs. Gabi Solomon started in the circle for the Vikings with Emilie Glocke coming on in relief. 

Mia Glocke led Gibraltar offensively, going 3-for-3 with a walk and scoring 2 runs. Gibraltar wraps up the weekend trip 0-3 and heads back home.
