With just a few practices under their belt, the Gibraltar softball team hopes to get their season off on the right foot with three games in two days in Mauston this weekend.

The Vikings went 3-14 last season, falling to St. Mary Catholic 12-2 in their lone tournament game. Isla Fagundes (Honorable Mention, IF) was the team's lone All-Packerland Conference performer.

Hurley, Mauston, Cameron, and Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah are the other teams on the schedule for the Vikings at the Woodside Athletic Complex in Mauston. Friday's game is scheduled to start at 3:30 p.m. while Saturday's matchups are scheduled for 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.
