The start of the WIAA Tournament will breathe new life into the season for the Gibraltar girls basketball team when they travel to Oshkosh to battle Lourdes Academy.
The Vikings are looking to snap a 12-game losing streak that dates back to the middle of January when they beat Stockbridge 69-11. The team has battled significant injuries in the time, including ones to starters Celeste Jauregui and Megan Schar that have ended their respective season. Azucena Jauregui has battled her own injuries this season as well, but leads the Vikings in scoring as a freshman with 7.4 ppg, 5.6 rpg, and 2.4 apg.

The Knights ride a two-game winning streak into Tuesday's contest boasting a 16-8 overall mark. Three players flirt with double-figures in the scoring department with Aubrey Schettle (12.2 ppg), Naomi Liabwill (9.8 ppg), and Adhieu Liabwill (9.8 ppg) leading the way.
Tim Kowols will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the tip-off at 7 p.m.
