The Gibraltar girls basketball team's slow start doomed them in a 57-34 loss to Crivitz on Thursday night.

The Vikings were outscored 39-10 in the opening frame thanks to the Wolverines' Kiya Brand scoring 20 of her game-high 27 points in the first half. Things got better in the second half with Josie Martin scoring nine of her team-high 11 points after the break. Megan Schar scored seven points and Azucena Jauregui added six points in the Vikings' loss. 

The VIkings will try to snap their losing skid on Saturday when they welcome Southern Door.
