Azucena Jauregui scored 12 points in her return to the lineup, but it was not enough to tilt the game in Gibraltar’s favor as the Vikings lost to Hilbert 55-40.

The two teams played relatively even in the first half, with the Wolves carrying a 23-20 advantage into the locker room. Emilie Glocke and Megan Schar knocked down 3-pointers to counter Hilbert’s Maddie Schnurer and Sydney O’Leary. The Wolves took control in the second half, outscoring the Vikings 32-20.

Jauregui’s dozen points were complemented by 12 points from Glocke and seven points apiece from Schar and Megan Gallant. Hilbert was led by Liz Schneider’s 17 points, while Aurora Sromek added nine.
