Southern Door took a page out of the Bears' playbook Tuesday night wiping away an 18-point deficit in the second half to win on a last second lay-in from Ryker Lohrey that gave the Eagles a 56-55 lead with 3 seconds remaining.
The first half was all Mishicot on the offensive end, building a 34-18 lead going into the break.
Southern Door flipped the switch at halftime relying on a few runs to close the gap and come within striking distance of a win.
The Eagles grabbed their first lead in the final minute of the second half, 52-51. Mishicot then put themselves back ahead and the two teams exchanged buckets before Southern Door finally got the last laugh.
It's a huge win for the Eagles, just their second, but it puts them on the right path going into a road matchup with N.E.W. Lutheran Friday at 7 p.m.
