Second chance points fueled Oconto to the 45-32 win over Gibraltar Friday night in Fish Creek.
Head coach Justin Burress credited the Blue Devils' defense for altering or blocking their attempts to crawl ahead in the game.
The Blue Devils led 31-21 at the break thanks to Natalie Schlueter scoring 12 of her game-high 20 points in the first half. She was complemented by Bella Cashenet's seven points and five points from Kora Termaat. The Vikings' Josie Martin led the team with 10 points while four others scored four points and a pair registered three points.
