The Gibraltar girls’ basketball team is set to host the Oconto Blue Devils this Friday for a conference matchup. The Blue Devils recently suffered a 47–30 loss to Algoma. Meanwhile, the Vikings are coming off a strong 50–32 victory against Green Bay NEW Lutheran. In that win, Celeste Jauregui led the scoring with 14 points, followed by Emily Glocke with 12 and Josie Martin with 10.

Gibraltar head coach Justin Burress emphasized the team's focus on limiting offensive turnovers while creating more turnovers defensively and maintaining strong ball control. Burress also highlighted the need for the Vikings to adjust to Oconto's variable floor spacing, which changes depending on who is on the court.
