The Gibraltar boys’ basketball team is hosting the Green Bay NEW Lutheran Blazers this Thursday. The Blazers are coming off a 62-50 loss to Tigerton. The Vikings are also coming off a loss, falling to Elkhart Lake-Glenbeulah 76-38. Kayin Jackson led the Vikings with 17 points.

In post-game comments, Vikings head coach Travis Ward called Elkhart Lake’s offense a “buzz saw,” adding they had “fast actions, quick reads, and accurate passes. On top of that, they didn’t seem to miss.” He also noted his team’s struggles: “We struggled to get good looks inside against their zone and weren’t knocking down threes consistently. We did a better job defensively in the second half, but still couldn’t find a rhythm offensively.”
