Gibraltar girls lose to Suring

The Gibraltar girls will head into the holiday break on a down note, losing to Suring 72-45 on Monday night.

 

The Eagles opened a 44-19 first-half lead that allowed them to cruise the rest of the game with Paige Pommerich and Gracie Christensen each scoring at least 10 points in the frame. With three three-pointers in the game, Pommerich led all scorers with 18 points while Christensen chipped in 14 points. Ellayna Skarban also reached double-figures with 10 points. No Vikings players reached double figures but all seven scorers scored at least five points in the loss including nine points from Megan Gallant, eight points from Emilie Glocke, and six points apiece from Megan Schar, Azucena Jauregui, and Josie Martin.

 

The Vikings are back in action on December 2nd at NEW Lutheran.105.1 The GOAT will carry the game live with Tim Kowols on the call beginning at 6:45 p.m. with the pregame show followed by the opening tip at 7 p.m.
