The Gibraltar girls basketball will squeeze in one more game before the holiday break on Monday when they welcome Suring to Fish Creek.
The Vikings earned their first win of the season when they beat rebounded from their loss earlier in the week to beat Goodman-Pembine 47-35 last Thursday. The Vikings jumped out to a 32-17 halftime lead thanks to Josie Martin's strong play inside that allowed her to score 12 of her team-high 14 points. Azucena Jauregui joined her in double figures with 10 points while Emilie Glocke and Ashlyn Lautenbach each chipped in seven points in the win.
The Eagles demolished Gresham 60-10 in the season opener last week.
Tip-off is set for 7 p.m.
