The Gibraltar girls' basketball team is set to tip off its season this Tuesday with a road game against Elkhart-Lake Glenbeuah. The Vikings finished last season with a 4-20 overall record and 1-15 in conference play. Leading the Vikings in his first season at the helm of the Lady Vikings is Justin Burress, who last coached the Vikings boys to an appearance in the state tournament. Returning this year is their second-leading scorer, Megan Schar (8.2 ppg), who enters her junior season. Seniors Josie Martin and Megan Gallant are also back for the Vikings.
The tip-off is at 6:30 PM.
