Vikings bring playoff hopes to Suring on 105.1 The GOAT

Thanks to an expanded eight-player football playoff field for 2025, Gibraltar can bring its playoff aspirations on the road with it Friday night when it visits Suring.

The Vikings won their homecoming matchup against Gillett 52-14. Thanks in large part to Sean Neal (214 yards) and Parker Gallant (144 yards), the Vikings outrushed the Tigers 429-242 despite running 10 fewer plays on offense. Giovanni Mercier, Finn Bremer, Owen Dannhausen, and Neal all had 10-plus total tackles to help the Vikings secure their first homecoming victory since 2022.

The Eagles enter the matchup 4-2 on the year, coming off a 36-6 loss to #2 Lena/St. Thomas Aquinas. Kroix Kempka's strong season continued in the game, racking up 55 yards on three catches and 89 yards and a score on the ground in the loss. It was one of two times this season that Suring failed to score at least 50 points in a contest.

Tim Kowols will have the call on 105.1 The GOAT beginning at 6:45 p.m. followed by the kickoff at 7 p.m. The game will also be streamed live at 1051TheGOAT.com and NEWRadioSportsNetwork.com.
