Two teams looking to bounce back from rough opening week performances will meet under the lights on Thursday when Gibraltar visits Florence.
The Vikings are coming off a 60-14 drubbing at home against Wabeno/Laona. Long touchdowns by Sean Neal on the ground and Bairen Lhost through the air by Giovanni Mercier provided the lone fireworks of the evening. Wyatt Bultman led the way with two tackles, including one for a loss. After the game, head coach Mike Peck lauded Neal and his 116 yards on the ground after playing soccer his previous three years.
The Bobcats are coming off a 33-0 loss to Newman Catholic.
