A six-run fourth inning helped Gibraltar/Washington Island shut out Lena 10-0 in four innings on Thursday.
The Vikings got out to a fast start, scoring three runs in the first inning thanks to a RBI triple by Cam Munao and a run-scoring single registered by Bennett Isaacson-Krueger the frame's biggest blows. After scoring one more run in the second inning, the Vikings batted around in the fourth inning with RBI hits by Aaron Brey, Luke Rericha, and Hobbs Emerson leading the charge.
Isaacson-Krueger collected three hits to go along with his RBI while Emerson posted two hits along with his RBI. Four other Vikings players had hits in the game.
Brey went all five innings, allowing one hit and five strikeout,
