Gibraltar/Washington Island and Kewaunee will end the school week in Fish Creek when the two teams meet on the baseball diamond Friday evening.

The Vikings suffered their first loss of the season on Tuesday when they fell to Sturgeon Bay 7-0. Owen Dannhausen led the Vikings with two hits. Aaron Brey took the loss on the mound for the Vikings, allowing five runs (5 ER) on seven hits across 3 2/3 innings. Bennett Issacson-Krueger finished the game off for Brey, allowing two runs (1 ER) on three hits.

The Storm held down Southern Door on Tuesday for a 2-0 win. Brett Paulsen took the hill for the Storm and was masterful, pitching 5.2 innings of perfect baseball before Braylon Berg bunted a single down the third baseline, Southern Door’s only baserunner of the game.
