A see-saw affair finally swung in the favor of Gibraltar/Washington Island in the end as they beat Sheboygan Lutheran 9-6 for their first victory of the season.

Down 3-0 early, the Vikings were able to tie the game up after two innings thanks to a Isla Fagundes RBI single and a two-run double roped by Abby Jarosh. The Crusaders responded immediately in the top of the third inning with another three-run frame to double up the Vikings 6-3. The Vikings would tie the game up in the fourth with the inning's big blow coming on a run-scoring double by Emilie Glocke. They took the lead in the next inning thanks in part to a RBI double from Pam Prescott and a RBI single from Megan Gallant. The Crusaders threatened in the seventh with the tying run standing at the plate, but Mia Glocke was able to shut the door for her first win of the season. Glocke earned the win from the circle by allowing six runs (3 ER) on seven hits across seven innings while striking out seven. Prescott recorded three hits while Jarosh and Fagundes each registered a pair of RBI.
