Gibraltar/Washington Island's Aaron Brey drove in four runs to lead the Vikings to a 10-1 win over Hilbert on Thursday.
Scoreless after two innings, the Vikings struck first in the third inning when Jaxin Lindgren singled in a run after the team cashed in on an error committed by the Wolves to make 2-0. After the Wolves cut the lead in half in the top of fourth inning, the Vikings went on to score eight unanswered runs over the next two innings. In the fourth inning, the Vikings scored on a fielder's choice, a ground out, and a walk before Lindgren singled in another run. Brey cleared the bags with a double in the fifth inning before scoring himself on a Munao single to end the scoring for the game.
Braden Kita, Bennett Isaacson-Krueger, Owen Dannhausen, and Lindgren all had multi-hit games in the win. Isaacson-Krueger earned the victory on the mound, allowing one run (0 ER) on four hits while striking out seven.
