Vikings baseball sweep Adams-Friendship Tournament

The Gibraltar/Washington Island baseball team saw its offense hit all cylinders on Saturday, beating Adams-Friendship 12-2 and Randolph 14-4.

 

in the first game, The Vikings scored at least three runs in each of the final three innings to end the game early at five innings. They broke the game wide open in the third inning when Cam Munao, Jaxin Lindgren, and Owen Dannhausen hit three consecutive run-scoring singles. Five different Vikings posted multi-hit games with Aaron Brey and Dannhausen driving three runs and Lindgren added two RBI. Bennett Isaacson-Krueger went the distance, allowing two runs (1 ER) on three hits. 

 

in the second game, the Vikings scored all 14 of its runs before the Rockets got onto the scoreboard, only to see the game end after five innings. Aaron Brey hit a pair of doubles as a part of a four RBI day. Dannhausen registered three hits as a part of his three RBI day while Munao also drove in three runs. Ten different Vikings collected at least one hit in the team's third consecutive win of the season.
