Vikings boys battles Wolves on Senior Night on 105.1 The GOAT

With their postseason fate sealed, Gibraltar and Algoma will try to finish the Packerland Conference slate strong when the two teams meet on Monday.

The Vikings fell to Sturgeon Bay 66-40 in their last game. They played the Clippers tight early on as they held them scoreless for the first seven minutes of the game. The Vikings did what they could to keep pace with Aaron Brey, Liam Lindenberg, and Luke Rericha hitting shots from behind the arc, but ultimately missed too many shots underneath to keep up with the Clippers.  The Vikings were led by Kayin Jackson's 11 points, with Jeffrey Mize adding six, while Brey and Lindenberg each added five.

The Wolves have been idle since they beat Sturgeon Bay last week 61-60. The Wolves missed three free throws at the end of the game, but the Clippers could not get the final shot to fall as Algoma prevailed. Cody Kirchman led the way for the Wolves with 19 points and Jackson Starr paced the Clippers with 19 points as well.
