Vikings, Clippers look for bounce back on 105.1 The GOAT

Gibraltar and Sturgeon Bay will try to wash the taste out of their mouth from losses earlier this week when they face each  other in Fish Creek on Friday night.

The Vikings were victimized by Caden Pierre's hot first half and Drew Daoust's even stronger second half, as the Eagles rolled to a 74-38 victory. Kayin Jackson ended his day with a team-high 13 points while Jeffrey Mize chipped in 10 points. The loss leaves the Vikings chasing their first conference win since beating Sevastopol 53-48 on January 3rd.

The Clippers were edged by Algoma 61-60 in their last outing. The Wolves missed three free throws at the end of the game, but the Clippers could not get the final shot to fall as Algoma prevailed. Jackson Starr paced the Clippers with 19 points. It was Starr's 24 points that led the Clippers past the Vikings in their first meeting last month 58-43.
