Gibraltar boys make trip to Kewaunee on 105.1 The GOAT

The Gibraltar Vikings return to Packerland Conference play Tuesday night when they play at Kewaunee.

 

The Vikings snapped a five-game losing streak on Saturday with a 49-45 win over Florence Saturday afternoon. Kayin Jackson registered 11 of his 13 points in the first half to lead the Vikings into the locker room up 26-21. Liam Lindenberg continued his hot shooting from beyond the arc, hitting two threes in each half to end the game with a team-high 14 points. The Vikings have not won a Packerland contest since it beat Sevastopol 53-48 on January 3rd.

 

The Storm have rattled off seven wins in eight tries, with its lone blemish coming against Packerland Conference-leading Southern Door. In its 66-46 win over Algoma in its last game, the Storm flipped the script in the second half, outscoring the Wolves 41-19 thanks to seven three-pointers. Four Storm players reached double figures, with Diesel Bosdeck leading the way with 15 points. The Storm won the last matchup against the Vikings 81-39.
