Gibrlatar boys fall to Laona-Wabeno

The Gibraltar Vikings could not keep up with the Laona-Wabeno Rebels Tuesday night on the road, falling 74-45.

The Rebels jumped out to a 40-26 lead in the first half and outscored the Vikings 34-19 in the second stanza.

Kayin Jackson paced the Vikings with 18 points and Fernando Jauregui added ten more, but it was not enough to overcome the Rebel attack.  Braden Kita chipped in eight points as well.

Gibraltar (1-5) will now play at Peshtigo on Thursday, taking on the Bulldogs in Packerland Conference action.
