The Gibraltar Vikings boys basketball team looks for its first win of the season in Green Bay Tuesday night when they face NEW Lutheran.
The Vikings have stumbled out of the gates with a 0-3 start. Last Saturday, the Vikings trailed 41-17 at the break en route to losing to Kohler 87-28. Braden Kita was the lone Vikings player to reach double figure with 10 points. Marco Jauregui chipped in seven points, and Kayin Jackson was held in check with five points. Jackson has been a bright spot offensively in the two previous games as he still holds a scoring average of 19 points a game.
The Blazers will be just as hungry for a win as they have opened the campaign with an 0-3 mark. They almost secured their first victory on Saturday, but lost to Tigerton in overtime 68-66.
