Gibraltar/Sevastopol United boys varsity soccer needed only one goal to defeat the Roncalli Jets in Manitowoc on Tuesday, October 15, blanking the hosts 1-0.  

Junior Damien Lardinois scored the game's only goal in the tenth minute. The United defense held fast for the remaining seventy minutes of the match, fending off several strong scoring chances from the Jets and earning junior goalkeeper Aaron Tomaszewski his second straight shutout on consecutive nights.

The win takes United to 10-4 for the regular season.

The regular season concludes for United with a doubleheader on Thursday, October 17, at home against Green Bay East. JV starts at 4:30 p.m., and varsity kicks off at 6:30 p.m. in Fish Creek.  

WIAA 2024 Boys Soccer Tournament play begins for Gibraltar/Sevastopol on Thursday, October 24, at 4:30 p.m. in Fish Creek. The #6 seed United hosts the #11 seed Algoma Wolves in a Division 4 Regional match. The winner will face the victor of the #3 Amherst/#14 Saint Lawrence Seminary contest on Saturday, October 26.
