The Gibraltar Viking girls’ basketball team could not hang on to a 20-17 halftime lead and fell to the Peshtigo Bulldogs 40-39 in Fish Creek.

 

Mikala Gorham scored 21 points with three three-pointers, but it was not enough as the Vikings fought hard but came up short on the scoreboard.

 

Holly Pesch  led the Bulldogs with 13 points, while Audra Bauman had 11 points, going 7/9 at the free throw line. 

 

Gibraltar will now host Goodman/Pembine on Thursday night in a non-conference game.
