Gibraltar boys can't catch Kohler

The Kohler Bombers showed why they are a top 10 team in the state at Division 4 with an 89-38 victory over Gibraltar Saturday afternoon in Fish Creek.

Max Breitenbach led the assault by scoring 19 of his game-high 27 points in the first half as the Bombers outscored the Vikings 58-19. The Bombers had three other players register double digits in the game: Trey Keller (14 pts),  Carter Zimmermann (13 pts), and Zane Willadsen (12 pts). Two others registered eight points in the rout.

Another key for the Bombers was controlling the Vikings' top scorer Braden Sitte, who scored just eight points in the contest, over 10 points less than his scoring average. Liam Lindenberg led the Vikings with 12 points with three three-pointers, and Kayin Jackson added nine points in the loss.
