The Gibraltar girls' basketball team saw a first-half lead slip away in the second half as they lost to Oconto 46-37 in Fish Creek on Thursday.

The Vikings got out to a 17-14 lead against the Blue Devils thanks to eight first-half points from Mikala Gorham. Their defense was also strong early, but the Blue Devils' Addisyn Viestenz caught fire in the second half, scoring 17 of her game-high 23 points in the second half. The Blue Devils were able to get an edge over their hosts in the second half as they made 13 of their 18 attempts compared to 4 out of 17 after the break for the Vikings. Gorham finished the day with 12 points and Andie Schar added nine points in the loss for the Vikings.
